Sessions and Critiques
Each 3-Day Boot Camp will include one day of sessions and one day of professionally delivered critiques! Tentative Schedule July 14 - NOT MANDATORY and NOT part of the competition. Tuesday - 5 pm. Hendersonville TN Huckabee taping at TBN Meet and greet of studio with producer Andy Freeman and Wanette Turner plus pictures with Governor Huckabee. (This day is not mandatory.) July 15 Wednesday Noon. - 5 pm. Third Coast comedy club, Seminars with Andy Freeman. Robert G. Lee, and Dennis Regan. Show 7 pm. First contest judging occurs this night! July 16 Thursday Noon - 5 Third coast comedy club critiques all day with celebrity meet and greet. 2 shows judged. 7pm. 9 pm. 9 pm finals with top 4 finalists and headliner Dennis Regan. The winner gets $1000! July 17 Friday (Not mandatory.) Williamson County Performing arts theatre. Franklin TN. Showcase. (All finalists guaranteed spots) 8 pm. Ticketed Event with Joby Saad, Leslie Norris Townsend, Robert G. Lee, Paul Aldrich, and Marty Simpson and maybe more! What Does the Winner of the Challenge Get? $1000 Cash Purse and the title of 2020 Clean Comedy Challenge Winner! Refund Policy There are no refunds. Cost of the Challenge is $285 until March 1st. Then $350 until June 1st. Then after June 1st the price goes up to $395. |

DENNIS REGAN
Audiences all over the country have experienced and embraced Dennis Regan's observational comedy, from nightclubs and cruise ships to colleges and corporations. His universal appeal has landed him appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, A&E's an Evening at Improv and Showtime's A Pair of Jokers with his brother Brian. Dennis Regan was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He held a variety of jobs and owned a business before becoming a comedian in 1987. Starting out in small local clubs, he soon moved to New York, where he worked his way through the Manhattan comedy scene over a five year period. Dennis Regan (ree' gan) has since been living the bizarre and quirky life of a road comic, spending some nights taking a spin in a stretch limousine, while spending others watching the spin cycle at the local Laundromat. Andy is the Senior Producer of the Mike Huckabee Show on TBN. Andy books many talented clean comedians to perform on this show and is an industry leader in finding comics who can deliver professional level laughs while staying clean. |
JOBY SAAD
Growing up in Nashville Tennessee, Joby worked in the family business assisting his father in the collection of used motor oil. We were part of the earliest Environmentalists although were we’re called other names. Joby read of Harry Houdini, the stage and was performing children’s magic shows most weekends by age 12. Joby say’s “Dad would build the props, and mom would give me props”. When the tricks didn’t work the laughs started flowing giving Joby the outlet to do what he really wanted, comedy.
